Yoga Nidra Meditation to calm & gently re-set your nervous system, body & mind. This is your practice to return to whenever you're in need of calming energy, to ground & return to yourself. Pure Yoga Nidra is the practice of relaxation in the body & mind, to calm us when feelings of overwhelm, burnout, anxiety or exhaustion (physical & emotional) are present. When your mind feels busy or you feel overstimulated & overwhelmed (ADHD minds, peri/menopausal thoughts feeling out of control, life just feeling Way Too Loud), take a moment to press pause...this lifelong practice is here for you, whenever you need it. During challenging times, or when recovering from illness or surgery, I invite you to practice this daily, when insomnia is present, listen to this every night (or when you wake in the night to ease yourself back to restful sleep) for as long as you choose. Choose your daytime or nighttime practice. Daytime - for an morning or afternoon rest & reset that will gently bring you back to your breath at the close of the meditation. Nighttime - same gentle deeply restful meditation, but this time inviting you to drift into sleep at the close of practice. Both include 10 mins of relaxing meditation music at the end to encourage deep relaxation, only returning when you feel ready, no rush no effort, just you & your breath. For those who'd like to explore deeper, option to reflect & journal with daily & weekly reflection prompts. Allow your body to answer to find your authentic self & guide her back home.
